Sedgewall Joins 21st Century Supply Chains

Sedgewall Communications Group Ltd offers a bespoke sub-contract manufacturing and assembly service (including box builds, power looms and cable assemblies), with customers seeing an improvement in productivity & reliability. One reason behind this is because Sedgewall manufacture to military standards, are ISO9001 certified and have been awarded EN 9100 accreditation as part of their ongoing improvements under SC21 auditing.

Sedgewall’s initiative to signup was due to their knowledge of the industry and its needs, alongside the drive for SC21 methods. Sedgewall’s interest in pursuing SC21 is threefold.
· Firstly to support their pursuit of being at the leading edge in their sector, (primarily the aerospace & defence markets).
· Secondly to gain the benefits of excellence, by introducing a ‘lean’ approach as a ‘culture’ to develop the business, with a structure for improvement across the total business.
· Thirdly, Sedgewall want to optimise their customer relationships.
