EarAngel

EarAngel is a hearing protection device for use with telephony headsets to prevent potentially damaging sound levels from reaching the users ear.
		Incoming speech is converted digitally and modified to reduce sound levels to a maximum of 85dB SPL (sound pressure level) at the eardrum. This is in line with the UK & European legislation relating to noise exposure level in the workplace. The EarAngel will not cause distortion, attenuation or echo effects of the received speech. It is designed to be 'transparent' in operation. EarAngel has call enhancement features including DTMF tone removal to enhance the clarity of the incoming call.

The EarAngel is an innovative product and it is the only UK product on the market place that offers the following functions:
EarAngel limits and removes DTMF tones via an advanced software solution.
EarAngel detects and reduces the sound pressure level to 85dB and removes all DTMF tones in less than 30ms.
EarAngel guarentees a maximum sound press level at the ear to be no greater than 85dB at the ear for any headset.
EarAngel is compatible with all makes and models of weird headsets.
EarAngel meets 2006 HSE legislation requirements for noise in the workplace.
EarAngel records every high level event that has been blocked with a time and date stamp for each event.
EarAngel indicates to the user when a high level event has occured.
EarAngel is future proof. Whenever a new headset comes onto the market, Sedgewall can calibrate the EarAngel to the new headset allowing our customer to upgrade the software when necessary.
EarAngel has been designed to be compatible with most telephone systems.
