The Enhanced Intercom Unit is a high quality vehicle intercom for use when communication is required between a vehicle cab and the passenger compartment.
It provides high quality speech communication and is very easy to install providing a low cost high quality vehicle intercom solution.
Operation for the driver is “Hands Free” through the use of a microphone mounted on the rear view mirror. The passenger or “Fare” simply speaks as normal using the mounted microphone and speaker.
Driver controls are kept to a minimum to avoid distracting the driver, the three controls are
- Rear Speakers OFF/ON
- Fare Volume
- Driver Volume
The unit is fully e-marked and consists of an intercom main unit, two microphones and an installation kit.
